Madden resides in the state of Oklahoma in the United States. He is 7 years old and was diagnosed with a cleft lip (also known as schisis) and two-colored pupils (minnows).
He was unfortunately harassed on the school bus, which totally altered his perception of himself.
Christina Humphreys, his girlfriend, expressed her regret on the Love What Matters website. They wanted to speak about it as a group, and they created a film peel last year to protest the threats they had received on Facebook, which went viral. It did wonders for his self-esteem, and he soon reverted to his former self.
Her parents saw a picture of a shelter cat on a Facebook page for mothers with children with schisis last week. Not only did the cat have a cleft lip, but his eyes were nearly identical to Madden’s!
Her parents made the decision to rescue the cat without hesitation. The cat was found in Minnesota, which is more than 1500 kilometers away from Oklahoma. A road trip was arranged with the aid of friends to rescue the animal. Since then, Madden and her cat Moon have been inseparable! Christina tells us that it is as if fate has brought them together.

They were also born with cleft lip and full heterochromia iridium, two unusual diseases.
Moon, while being a street rescue from Minnesota, was the one who saved Madden from his isolation.
Moon taught Madden that being odd doesn’t make him a freak; it just makes him one-of-a-kind.
Madden and Moon’s relationship is one that has been forged by fate.
